One of our major event for the year 2018 was the Stakeholders Roundtable discussion in November. The discussions mainly focused on three topics (Shell - Global Perspective, Shell - operations in Tanzania and Social Investment) as well as the panel discussion under the topic “The impact of LNG project for industrialization”

Celebrating Tanzanian Young Scientists

Competitions in Science and technology project by secondary schools’ students encourage them to pursue science and technology subject and become potential oil and gas industry future employees. For this reason, Shell Tanzania supports YST exhibitions and competitions because Tanzania needs more scientists to lift the economy of the country to the higher levels. Shell Tanzania is one of the major sponsors of YST event.

The launch of the environmental day was held at Mnazi Mmoja grounds in Dar es Salaam. The Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa was the Guest of Honour at the function. Shell Tanzania worked together with the Ministry of State, in Vice President’s Office:- Environment and Union Affairs.
